Our Diverse Portfolio

Prior to the establishment of Urban Productions, I had the incredible opportunity to partner with Floyd 'Little Floyd' Reeves, Jr. of Southeast Productions. Together, we embarked on a remarkable journey of producing and promoting weekly comedy shows and concerts for over 25 years.

During this time, we had the privilege of working with some of the most talented comedians in the industry. Our shows and concerts featured the likes of Jamie Foxx, George Wallace, Sommore, Martin Lawrence, Chris Tucker, Steve Harvey, Mike Epps, Joe Torry, Chante Wayans, (the late great) Bernie Mac, Bill Bellamy, Carlos Mencia, Tommy Davidson, Gary Owens, Red Grant, D.L. Hughley, Mo'nique, Mark Curry, and Chris Rock.

Urban Productions most recently had the pleasure of booking, producing, and promoting comedy concerts starring Eddie Griffin, Rickey Smiley, Earthquake, Joe Torry, Pierre, and John Henton, as well as comedy shows with some of South Florida's funniest comedians, Kyle Grooms, Chris Priester, Marvin Dixon, Rayzor, Larry Dogg, Candyce Official, Julie Baez, Gene Hardin, and Malik S.

My journey in the world of comedy tours began with the successful production and promotion of The Jamie Foxx 'Word Up' Tour in the mid-90s. It was evident from his time on In Living Color that Jamie Foxx possessed immense talent and an undeniable ability to make people laugh.

Little Floyd played a pivotal role in opening doors for both comedians and businessmen in the South Florida comedy scene. He spearheaded the promotion of weekly shows, while I invested my resources into making them a resounding success. Our endeavors not only brought us financial prosperity but also allowed us to witness the growth and transformation of young comics into bona fide stars.

We tragically lost Little Floyd in March 2007, and in his memory, I am committed to dedicating my full efforts to ensuring that Urban Productions projects reach a level of excellence that will honor his legacy.

Urban Productions will continue to push boundaries, elevate the comedy and entertainment industry, provide clients with an active event planning process, and deliver to audiences a better event experience.
